My First Blog Post - REIT holdings

 About Me

I am a university student with several years of experience in investments. I started with Hong Kong dividend stocks, but gradually expanded to different foreign stock markets after feeling that the Hong Kong market has limited prospects. I am now invested in Singapore and Australia REITs, as well as US stocks. Apart from the real estate sector, my main focus is on information services, software and capital market.

As at November, my REITs holding is as follows: 


My trades this month include: 

Adding MINT @2.23

Adding DHLU @ 0.615

Selling all OUE Com Reit @ 0.345

Initiating FLCT @1.11

Initiating HKL @3.91

Initiating KREIT @ 0.875


Looking into December, I may sell some holdings to raise cash. This is to prepare for the unlikely event that the US Fed will raise rates by more than 50bps in the Dec meeting. I am looking to increase my position in ESR-Logos REIT and Frasers L&C Trust. I believe industrial property in both Singapore and Australia are well supported by demand from e-commerce, and the market under-appreciates their resilience. Frasers L&C Trust trading at 6.5% forward yield (on a conservative estimate of 7.2 DPS in FY 2023 taking into account rising interest rates) represents an attractive buying opportunity.
